This company, General Warranty, called my son's cell phone - which is on the Do Not Call list - and requested information on his truck. The vehicle is a 1995 truck with more than 140,000 miles on it, and they claimed it was eligible for extended warranty coverage. Fortunately he did not give any further information or agree to anything. I tried to call the number back and got a message that it is disconnected. JUST HANG UP IF THEY CALL YOU - IT IS A SCAM!
This company has been calling my business for five months. Nothing deters them. I've pressed 9 to be added to the remove list. I did that several months ago. I try talking to someone and they hang up.
