I was contacted by text to sell my meat slicer and this person wanted to send me a certified check and have me release the machine after 1 day to clear.this reminded me of the last time we tried to sell this machine someone sent me a check for $3500 more than the amount wanted me to cash the check and send the difference somewhere else. My bank manager found the check to be fake.when i told this new prospective buyer we want a money order and would have the check authenticated and would wait till the check really cleared the person never responded back.is this an attempt at fraud???????

I received a call and text from the same number. They wanted to buy a car i had for sale. As soon as they said "...i'll send you" i figured it was fraud.
