I just received a call from this number today. The caller ID said C Anus.
They said they were with DISH and needed to replace my receiver box due to a satellite relocation. I spent nearly 25 minutes with them. The red flag for me was that they wanted to upgrade my current box and that it was "expensive" requiring a $125.00 deposit. I resisted and they had their game plan down pat. When I called DISH after the call, they said it was a fraud and no one would be coming to my house this week with a new box. The good news is I hung up on them and they got no CC info on me. Whew!
Thank you for posting. I am in 208 area code but do not answer numbers I do not recognize. I also do not have dish. A few minutes ago I got two calls from Humana ins. They left a message re new info. And we should give them a call. If it was not for scam calls my phone would hardly ring. They go full board on Mondays with prank calls. Ok my phone just lit up with a message. I think it is from the 2083692072 and they said that we have a fallen and get up thing waiting for free and we then qualify for life insurance. Ok so I get a free button probably pay a monthly fee then pay for life insurance and get a new Dish box. God life is good for seniors
