I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced that

I answered and a prerecorded voice started telling me something about my car insurance and wanted personal information...I hung up pretty quickly

Someone calling to tell me about "new insurance laws" that would "significantly lower" my auto insurance rates. She did not say who she was representing. I asked to be put on their do not call list.

I got a call from a place that wasnt my insurance company and i didnt recognize the number. She also didnt name her company.
