Person called me saying there is a legal matter against my name and social. Fraud by deception because I didn't pay a payday loan back. I told them I had no payday loans out. He argued with me and told me I will go to court if I don't pay him and said "how about you pay one payment today and then when you get the paperwork pay the other" so they cannot prove that this is a legitimate debt. I told him to send me to court then and he got defensive asking why I wouldn't just pay. He kept going and going so I told him to send docs said good luck and hung up. These are scammers. No one will call to tell you that you will get served, they would just serve you with a lawsuit. Plus, when they say it's only $300 (that's less than $500 and statue of limitations in most states are 2 years for under $500) know your rights. They are just using a scare tactic. DONT PAY THEM!
