interesting that the phone's CID shows: 208-437-7104 Oldtown,ID & the Callblocker unit on the same line shows ------------------------- (nothing). AND the call blocking button, did not work on this call. (spoofed number?). Otherwise the callblocker works flawlessly ..
No one spoke, neither did I. I now ignore calls from unknown numbers or I answer but say nothing, which usually results in the caller saying nothing and they hang up. When I ignore them I find most do not leave a msg. Most be a scam thing, avoid leaving your voice on someones voice mail for evidence. But both approaches seem to be working, I almost never get the scammer leaving a msg and they never call back, at least with the last number they used. Question is, who are the idiots who actually fall for these phone scams? Are there really that many stupid people out there?

Wow, I had a chance for a free trip to the Bahamas. All I had to do was answer a 3 question survey about "green" alternatives. They wanted me to say "yes" or "No" to each of the question. Since I can't follow directions I instead hit one of the touch tone buttons on my phone. Ms. Robo took that for a couple of times and then said "Sorry we bothered you today". The line disconnected. Guess I was annoying their computer. Darn, just realized I probably won't get that free trip to the Bahamas. Oh, well I'm sure they will call back again and again and again.
