I cannot believe these people. Whoever "Tony" is, called me and started immediately saying that his firm sent me "numerous notices telling me that my 2011 Subaru car warranty was expired due to the mileage". He then proceeded to say he could get me an extended warranty for my car and that he wanted to price it up for me".
I stopped him politely and told him we no longer have the car, we traded it in. He immediately hung up on me. How rude! First, he never identified his firm, second, he just rudely started speaking, third, he just hung up on me and didn't even bother saying he apologized for taking my time.
I hit the redial on the phone number that called in which appears as local area code (208). The number is: 208 451-2945 and the recording said "if you want to have your number removed from their list, press 1". I pressed 1 and then it said it can take up to 48 business hours for it to be removed. Don't these people have any integrity? 48 business hours? I am on the national do not call register. Is there any help available to prevent this type of telephone privacy violation?
