Calls several times a day. Never leaves a message at all. We have an answering machine and caller ID on the phone so we NEVER pick up these kinds of calls. We get many such calls from several different numbers each day. They typically start at 9 AM and end in early evening. However, we have gotten a few after 10 PM at night (not many). There must be some way to counter this telephone terrorism. Perhaps a legislator could introduced a bill in Congress or a state legislature which would declare this sort of harassment as terrorism. And, make the punishment a felony with jail time and fines. Maybe that would quell this sort of intrusion into our privacy.
This number, 208-488-6650, calls my business daily in some cases. In only one instance has there been a human voice at the other end (with loud television airing a children's cartoon and young kids laughing). The male voice was not speaking to me but in Spanish to someone else on another phone. In all other circumstances they call and disconnect by the third ring. "Unknown" always appears in the caller id.
This number has called me at least 5 times today. When I tried to call back, all I got was hold music. No one ever answers, just a ring and back on hold.
