Called several times over and over left threatening messages and said we would be served at home and work.

I used to work for a collection agency that did the same thing for payday loans. This is such a joke. I called these people back just to have some fun. When asked about the court this was filled with i was advised the attorney has that information and he is in court and then i got hung up on... please people do not be scamed by these people.. This may be a debt that you owed at some point and maybe you do or maybe not... Most likely it is a verrrrry old debt. These type of collection agencies buy this paper (debt) for pennies on the dollar to make a huge profit off debts that have long been forgotten about and written off. Trust me coming from someone that did this for a living, do not let them scare you.  If anything has been filled against you they should be able to provide you with all the court information. These people have been trained to come up with rebuttals for your questions.
