208 is a cell phone carrier number from the MN area. My son has a cell phone and the call letters are 208. But that doesnt tell you much because these people that make these calls steal the phone numbers of regular people. I keep getting a call from my own phone number. I set my answering machine to answer after two rings. I figured a legimate person would leave a message. It has cut down on repeat callers quite a bit.
But this number as I said might be an innocent person. I put the phone right next to me now to see if they call again I am going to pick it right up and ask the AH what the Hades he is doing.
First call from this number I did not answer and no message was left. Second call from this number in the same day i answered it and a computer voice came on and said " goodbye" then hung up. I called it back a few hours later around 6:30pm and a woman answered and I could hear people in the background. When she answered I just said goodbye and hung up on her.
Same as above. MULTIPLE calls over several weeks from this number and also (331)256-1080 Illinois, (610)498-7018 Pennsylvania and (831)661-8078 Cali. Answer and I get the same electronic type voice saying "Goodbye". Used phone feature to add to blocked call list. I have some ideas on what to do with these peeps, but I would probably get arrested if I put it into writing. :(
2085497876 called me twice on August 1st,not with my phone both times but on calling back it was a dead end,no answer. Do know that I have no one from Idaho that will call and any legit person will leaves a message after an important call..... another number call also started with 208 end with 916......
