This number has repeatedly called me. They had the nerve to call me on Saturday at 5:30 in the morning and when I started yelling at them telling them what time it was I was hung up on, no one even said a word when I answered the phone. They have called me everyday since then. I wish that I could find out who it is and being that I work along side 3 attorneys and my husband is a law enforcement officer I would love to find out who or what company this is and I would lodge a formal complaint against them.
Ma'am, you have to realize the callers have no regards for anything, much less time, day, or how old you are. Scamming runs 24/7 365 and they take what they can get. For calls that come at unreasonable hours, take a look at different places in the world (India for one) and see what time it is there. In India, 530 our time is within business hours there. Unless you have an emergency, expect any calls coming at ridiculous times to be worthless, lots of them will have nothing to say other than simply looking for answers and live numbers. If you can do it and it's a landline, consider turning off your ringer or disconnecting your phone during the night. A call blocking device could help, too. On a cell, you should be able to block private calls already. Ignore all unknown numbers, even with an answering machine if possible.
I recv'd call from 208-558-9980, caller ID said Terence Mooney. When I answered the call, Caller identified himself as Daniel from Microsoft. Told me that he noted problem w/ my computer, was "whinning". He could help me fix the problem. First of all, NO problems w/ my computer, secondly I would call someone if I needed help, not accept help from someone calling me. Told him I was in the middle of something and asked him for a number to call him back he gave me a different number, 321-332-0208. When I questioned why a different number he told me that number on caller ID was company number and the number he gave me was direct line. Sounds Like a SCAM to me.
