I have been called multiple times a days from 208 area code numbers with a recording claiming to be Verizon and saying my account is suspended and I need to give them credit card or electronic check info. They don't have my name or balance correct and my account is not even overdue. I have called verizon each day and reported it and they block the numbers. The next day I get called from a new 208 number. This is really getting annoying! I have reported it to FBI and other websites that are not currently out of service with the Gov't shut down. DON'T Pay them! Call Verizon direct!

This number is a scam. It is not verizon. It said my service was suspended. I hung up and called verizon to check my account and everything was fine. Do not give them any information.
It has happened twice in one week and verizon was not the least bit concered.
DO NOT PAY them any money. I work for verizon and this is a scam. I am also receiving calls from 208 numbers and also 518 numbers out of new york. Block them and they just call from another number. All I can say at this time is try putting your cell number on the government not call list and if I get any better information I will post it.
