Caller "Scott" claiming to be a rep. of "Metro Compounds" offering to send me his business cards in a yeti insulated mug. He then ask about what kinds of products I may be wanting to improve. Such as cleaners, lawn care, etc.. Once I mentioned weed killers he started pushing a product that I had no knowledge of. Starting price was 55 gal. /$5400.00 after a no on that he came down to 25 gal. /$1900.00. Again, no was the answer and told him he was welcome to send me a sample free of charge. He said he would go down to the production floor and personally hand pump 5 gal./ $500.00, just for me to sample the product. All because he was sure it would do circles around my current product I am using. I told him no and the only way I would try his product would be with a free sample. He said there was not a smaller amount that would be offered nor would it be free. The 5 gal. deal was the smallest quantity and an amazing deal, take it or leave it. I said I would leave it. With nothing else said from him, he just hung up the phone.
