They have called 3 times today. Last time the message just caught the end of the computer voice stating "veri-fax" or something then their phone number. CID states Lieberman Research. Will block number now!
I actually answered, and the person on the other end didn't want to talk.
She started stuttering about a computer problem and said she'd call back. I insisted she tell me what the call was about, and she asked if I was interested in a free trial of the Metro West newspaper.
I live in Mass and the call was from Idaho, and she sure sounded like she was lying.
Must be some kind of scam.
I live in MA and receive calls from this number numerous times a day. I never answer and the message that's left says "this is a service verification, we will call you back later." There is a name that comes up on my caller ID - Alen D. Coeur.
That name, Alan D. Coeur, sounds suspicious. One of the other posters mentioned that the call was from Idaho. There is a town in Idaho called Coeur d'alene. It doesn't take much imagination to see how the name Alan D. Coeur could have been made up.
Jerry you make me laugh and my head hurt at the same time dude.. It doesnt take much imagination to mb think this call could be originating from Couer D'Alene.. The guys CID listed the name as if it were a name: last name first, first name last. At least thats what I imagine.
As for these calls.. we get them everyday here.. We have a running joke here that its the aryan nation calling. FUN FACT there is a white supremacy group in couer d'alene. Saw it Discovery confirmed on Google.
Another fun fact there is a large Silver/Gold mining company from there: Ticker symbol (CDE).
Whats suspicious is any telemarketer. They are like bottom feeders, parasites, flys, maggots.. somn stupid that serves no purpose.. Something I can't imagine how they get paid except for mb if they are getting paid by another party up front and are just not producing.. Scammin sumone no doubt. Cuz really whats the success rate here in telemarketing. It boggles my mind.
