Received calls from this number on two consecutive days claiming they were Credit One Bank on my cellphone. Spoke with someone with a heavy Indian accent. They were asking about auto insurance or something similar. I told him I did not have an account with that bank and that this was a brand new cellphone number. They also asked me for my name and Social Security number, which of course I didn't give them.
I got the same calls - I returned one and they wanted to know my credit card number (I don't have one with them), and told me if I would not supply my social security number they could not take my call. Before hanging up on the impudent young woman, I promised to notify my states attorney general's office - which I will. As an old CPA, I repeat tried and true advice: NEVER give your social security number to these sorts of people.
Got a call from a 802 number and left a message they were from the irs and I was being sued then immediately got a call from these people didn't answer. I am retired so don't have any tax debt
