This number is good for many scams. They are in the back and knee brace business, report that your debit card is bad and they can fix it,and they are selling human growth hormones. I have had callls from all three. Enough allready
Answered and told the idiots I would show them how pain works,ie I would rip their worthless head off and crap down their neck. They hung up , wonder why ?
1. October 30, 2015 my phone ID identified (208) 917-8112, Boise, ID. Not knowing anyone at that location, I let it ring. Call went to my answering machine. No message left. As a rule, I list this phone number in my "Not blocked yet" PAPER phone list. The next time they call from the same number they will go directly to "block number" on my telephone.
Advise:1. If you have a limited numbers of call to store in your telephone as "blocked numbers", enter their first call phone number on a piece of paper and wait until they call you for the second time from the same phone number , if that happens, block their number for good. So that you will save your limited "block this number" on your telephone to the repeated offenders.
2. Never, ever call back their numbers out of curiosity or rage. Your number can be displayed in their system as a valid number. Just refrain from calling them back or punching any number that they suggest for you to be on their "do not call list". What you are doing is confirming your phone number as valid.
3. Telemarketers have sophisticated equipment to detect invalid phone numbers. An invalid phone number is the one that rings four to six times without anyone to respond. Then their equipment may cancel your number for future calls.
4. Caller ID is what you need to fight this pest, let the phone ring and enjoy your revenge.
5. I believe that only our representatives in Congress can make rules to re-enforce the Federal Do Not Call List. So far it is very weak in fighting telemarketers who enjoy the cooperation of the telephone companies.
