Received call saying I was selected as a recipient of a new topical pain reliever cream. I informed them I wasn't interested, they persisted with their call. Finally had to tell them to have a good day and hang up.

One of those robo calls that actually starts out sounding like you're talking to a live person. It's the newest craze in telemarketing! This one supposedly wanted to have their security company (name not given) put a "free" system in our house as long as we would put a sign in our front yard as a form of advertising for them. When the recording asked if that would be okay, I said, "perhaps" (as I never say the word 'yes' on these calls) and I was connected to a live person who never would tell me the name of the company. When he asked for....wait for it....my personal information, I gave him a fake name, and the address of the police station as my own and a credit card number that I'm positive doesn't exist.
