The prefix 125 is not valid and should be ignored.

Received a call from this number tonight after 3 previous missed calls.

South Indian-sounding young man introduced himself as "Ryan" when I answered.  Asked for me by my first name.  Said he was from "Validity Research" doing a public opinion poll.  Kept asking if it was me. Wanted me to confirm my name but I never did. --which means he was testing to see if my number was a real/good number.  When I asked him how he got the number, he said "their system randomly generated it".  Meaning, it was the next number in the list of stolen information that he was pouring through.  These twerps are working for hackers and scammers.

The best thing you can do when these numbers call is DO NOT PICKUP!  Ignore the call, then block the number, then REPORT IT.

I've never seen a number that's valid where the prefix starts with a 1.   It's a spammer.  Don't answer or call it back.
