Who called from 2092076201

How does this scam work? I was also emailed by Thomas Gate regarding purchasing my Point Pong tables.
If they pay prior to shipping with the credit card, what happens?

In the one instance that I went through the quoting process with a similar name, these scams are usually connected to a real business and a real credit card - neither of which belong to the person you are in contact with. Even if you get credit card payment, it will likely be cancelled by the cardholder. The only safe way to complete these sketchy transactions is to accept check payment, which I'm sure could still be a risk. Just be safe with the e-mail buyers for your sake and the sake of the cardholder.

Here is a new one for you guys. -- sounds like these guys send out the same inquiries.

This is the original email I got from Thomas Gates. I didn't get a call. I was fooled until after 4 emails back and forth when he said his wife was going to have a baby, so he couldn't send the purchase order. He also said he wanted me to ship the parts to Sweden.

Contact them with the weight of the item and also the pickup address of where this will be picked up from. You do not have to create an account with Pacific Ocean Freight & Logistics, email them on a request for shipping quote and they will quote you, and when its ready to ship, after i make all payment and it has cleared in your bank, then you proceed to ship them, also, they take care of all the paper work, they will just need you to sign them and thats all. I also understand that there are some surcharges when you do credit card transactions, 2% or 3%, well i don't mind you charging me that when you are charging for the shipping cost and with this freight company, once payment has been made, there wont be no later charges or hidden fees, they take care of all the paper work, you will just need to sign them thats all.
