I didn't look into it too much at first, just simply replied to the email with my quote.

The following email was sent in response which clued me in that this was a scam:

Thank you very much for the quote you provided to me as earlier on,any way i will like to add a quote on another
60.000 copies making 120,000 copies and get back to me with the SAM total cost on that so that i can proceed with credit card for payment.

notes:Jeff, i will like you to understand that,this printing will be shipped to my s.o.s home in Sweden,so i like to recommend this shipping company[fascom shipping co.ltd] via email:[email protected]. for the pick up of the products from you location to the the following address provided on the Art work .so i will like you to contact them via their email,and request a freight quote for shipping the products from your location to the delivery address to Sweden.

The phone number is a California area code.  The address is in Nashville and corresponds to a publishing company.  And he wants me to send the items to Sweden.  How many Reverends do you know that have a home in Sweden?  

Upon further review, the IP address corresponds to a Ghana location.

Basically, they seem to be trolling for people who will hire their "shipping company" and pay for the "shipment" of a large quantity of heavy items.

I received similar, though when I replied, the email bounced (Note the yahoo rather than gmail address).

The email is "[email protected]" and i googled "robin hendry" and i came across this link so i am posting it here for you all to take caution.

I also got the same requests for fliers about a year ago and it was for some 60 or 70 thousand to be shipped to alabama. I quoted this reverend and he gave me a credit card number and i called my credit card processing company to verify the card and they told me the address and the card did not match and when i told the reverend what happened he failed to respond.

I think this group or groups go from industry to industry every so often and carpet bomb email addresses and see who replies to their schemes and some people get caught up in the hopes of getting a large order which are unusually large for a new customer with out regard to whether your business provides guarantees or similar inquiries for such a large order.

Do your due diligence dont be fooled by easy money, if money was easy to get, we would all be rich and nobody would care what the cost was.
