This number called and I decided to answer it. What sounded like an automated voice claimed ot have working capital "for my business." I replied that I wasn't interested and there was no business here. I got an apology, and I hung up.

I said "yes" to "I'll transfer you to one of our loan officers, ok?" the system transferred me to an live human who pretended to interact with the synthetic voice. Semi-clever but not convincing. I held silently on the line until they disconnected. Hopefully they lost a real catch by me wasting their time. Next time I'll ask her some very personal questions. By the way there are no loans, there is no money to lend, they just want to gradually gain your trust to get you to give up two pieces of financial info that will allow them to take all the money from your account without you having a shred of evidence to backtrack them. The phone numbers are spoofed - the operation is based off shore, the white American sounding synthesized voice is that of a professional voice actress. The actual human you're transferred to is (possibly) one of many young women taken to London from eastern Europe and the Phillipines illegally under false pretenses by a "pimp" type handler who enslaves them and makes them work long hard hours with insufficient food and rough living conditions - including captivity in a crowded east end flat with retrofitted steel doors. The operators are ex KGB agents working with elements of the Bulgarian mafia and with some support from London area violent motorcycle gangs. The money they take from you lands in either Russia or Malta first.
This scammer calls numbers on the national do no call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have a live operator on the phone when the call is answered. They still further violate the TCPA by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to answer questions. They then further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide a phone number when asked and again by hanging up when asked for a physical address. The recording is a robotic system trying to offer you some form of loan over the phone. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer any personal or financial information.
