Got the call on my cell as I was driving...only close friends and family have the number so I answered and got some sales pitch. I was told that I could 'opt out of future calls' by pushing 3. I'm sorry, I was driving and the number screen wasn't up so I just yelled, "Three, three, three, three!! Take me off of your #$#! list!" Will that work? Who knows but I will turn this over to my wireless carrier...Verizon...and if anyone can get rid of this they can and will.
I got a call from this SPAM outfit today - no message left on my mobile phone. I did not pick up - I've been receiving dozens of calls every month on my mobile and home phones - and I'm on the DO NOT CALL list for both.
I'm assuming they are using spoofing systems to make their call appear to be in the Central Valley. They could be anywhere - might even be overseas, using Google or ? to make free calls. Where is the FCC and why are they so powerless to prevent these types of calls and scams?
