I received email communication from my website from Engr Dennis Wyatt with the same contact number, providing detailed information for their wedding. A London mailing address with a CA contact number. While on the onset this doesn't raise a red flag for me because I'm also a destination wedding planner, this just didn't sit well in my spirit and I was prompted to bing/google the contact number I was given and came across this.
The person behind this number ordered Avon from me and sent a fraud check and then texted me. They have given me several names. The woman was supposedly Barbara Funk. The check was sent from Dennis Wyatt and I was supposed to send money back to Wendie Thompson. I hope someone catches these people.
I got the same check from another person but Dennis Wyatt was the name. Did you cash the check? How far did you go with these people. I got the same kind of emails about the refund
