I will also be reporting this to Windows and whoever else, i don't know how they got my cell number really scary. He also said his name was Mike I did call the number and it just rang hope they are got soon.
These SOBs actually put a password on my computer after I refused to buy their product that apparently removed files left over from hackers etc (all bogus by the way). It took me a little extra effort to find a way around it (allow Microsoft Repair set the computer back to a save point prior to the time of the telephone call and it removes any files added after that point including the password). Hope someone does identify them. There probably are 100s of people who get scared and buy into this at prices well over $100. I am reorting this incident to the police as well in case they are onto this scam.

Just got a call on my cell phone(while I was at work) telling me they got an error message from my computer. I asked which computer (work or home) and they tried getting employer information. I asked for the call back number without giving any information. Caller id said 24. These guys are up to no good.
These guy just called me with this... They said they were from Windows and that my pc told them I had a virus. I asked how they got my cell # and they said something about when I first got my pc, I registered it... No I didn't. I got this pc from a friend. My #'s aren't even associated with this pc (or any other). Wierd. Almost scary. They sounded very believable... Almost had me for a min.
