well, nothing has stopped...they continue calling because the repugs love to protect phone harassers..like our legislaturely-misminded supremes...all political hacks--slimeballs
I have received two missed calls on my *cellphone* from this number, yesterday and today. The first
time, I tried calling back, and got some answering machine or phone tree. I have no idea who this is.
I just got an unsolicited text message on my cell phone that I HAD TO PAY FOR!! So I immediately filed a complaint with the FTC. You should do the same.

If the FTC receives enough complaints, they will take action against the spammer. They can't investigate if you don't complain. So do your part to put theses spammers out of business!
This also works well with the UNSOLICITED CALLS from DEBT COLLECTORS for collection calls that DON'T BELONG TO YOU (where the DC is calling for the former owner of the number they called). I tell the DC I'm not the person they are looking for and if they don't take my number off their call list, I'll be filing a FTC Form 1088 Complaint against them and forward a copy to them.
When I ask them for their address to send their copy of the 1088 Complaint Form to, they hang up on me!
They rarely call back after that. But if they do.....
