Got a call from 209-356-9538. No message and caller ID reads phone number and PUBLIC APPEAL. Didn't call back figured if important they would have left a message.
Called just a few moments ago and didnt leave a message. Called back and it had an automated voice message saying the extension number was unavailable.
It's a scam. Their story is their cops fundraising for children. They want you to pledge and they'll send you the bill. Asked for a website, website ends in a .com not .gov
