I received a call from this number and it was supposedly from drug and alcohol rehab submitted by "a loved one." Baloney! Received before so pressed "1" for the "counselor"....who answered and hung up! Good thing it's a scam....a candidate for rehab would be left in the lurch. Ha! It's a scam people. Don't answer unknown numbers and especially CA numbers.
Scam. Company called twice in a matter of a few minutes. They have a telemarketing "auto-dialer" or robo-caller calling a phone list. I picked up the phone the second time and listened to dead air. I called the number back and "(209) 407-5108" is "disconnected."
Whatever name this company goes by, it is definitely a scam. The company is broadcasting a phony number and a generic caller identification of "Travel." I received this call at work, so the telemarketer is targeting employees and wants to make the call seem as if it were internal. Ther are flagrant violations of Maryland Telemarketing laws here.
They are calling me saying it is "amy with addiction specialists"
This and many other cali numbers are calling me with the same message. I cannot stop them but to block the numbers. They call the next day with 2 other numbers.
