called and left no message. Called back and it said press 9 to be added to do not call list. So I did. And I'm sure they'll just change there number and call from there. This is never ending. What is the point of a do not call list!!??!!
Answered, Auto message saying my eligibility for lowering my student loan payment is running out and if i dont respond within 48 hours it will be revoked. Then says press 2 to speak to someone, or 1 to be placed on the "Do Not Call List" (riiiight)... Pressed 2 to see who picks up. Immediately someone answered with a VERY THICK eastern accent. SCAM.
I did the same thing and advised the poor English speaking woman on the other end I have NEVER attended any schooling and therefore I have NO student debts and to please quit soliciting me. Before I could get all my words out the stupid [***] hung up on me. I tried calling the number right back and my cell provider comes on and says that this number has been changed or no longer in service.

You should never press a number to removed from a list. All you have done is validate that your phone is likely to be answered. You can expect more calls from the as well as other scammers.
