Called Tuesday, 4-19-16 at 8:58 pm PDT. Caller ID showed "Vet Support Fnd". Hung up when answering machine came on. Previous call from same ID had a totally different number: 805-200-4294 and called twice in one day. I would never donate to any so-called charity which solicited by phone.
Raising funds for Veteran's. I asked the rep how much goes to the Vets. He said "15%". I said "that's horrible." And he continued to talk and I said "that's horrible!" again with a louder voice. He then said some response ending the conversation and hung up. (I can't remember his exact words to end the conversation because I received another ***** telemarketer call when I was typing this.)
You are correct--they call at all hours of the day and night. I do not answer anymore because I've asked both numbers (805-201-4294 and 209-435-9282) to stop calling me because I will never give money when it's solicited by phone. They don't listen. Google it--it's really a scam charity.
