This is a number with a recording that is trying to scam you into energy savings. Don't listen it is fraud!!! They called my cell even though it is on the do not call list.
oh my gosh I'm so sick of this stupid phone calls I too got a call from the same number everybody else getting calls from yet nobody says anything from what I am told if you are on the Do Not Call list and they continue to call they can get fined serious moneyI don't know how true it is I want to stop I am on the Do Not Call list as well but it doesn't seem to stop any of these idiots from calling
I thought it was PG&E calling me (automated voice call), as they seem to be passing off without saying PG&E directly. They said that I was eligible for a rebate to save up to 60% off my electric bill. They continue saying that my rates will be increasing soon unless I press 1 to speak to someone immediately. I still kept thinking it was PG&E. I looked at the number, it is local and not some 800 number like most telemarketers use. I decided to check online to decide to block this number or not. I am also on the Do Not Call Registry.
Number will block using an Android app that I have been using successfully to block unwanted calls, Embware's Call Blocker (free).
According to my research this call originates from Stockton. Don't know anyone from Stockton. Probably a scam.
Here is a suggestion, quit calling my land-line and cellphone. I will never answer these calls and have reported previous calls to the police department. Not interested in your scams, quit calling! These callers never leave messages.
