IRS scam. Indian accent. I love it when the Microsoft scammers call me. I ask them tons of questions like, "Do I need to plug the computer in? I always keep it unplugged because of lightning" and "Do I need to be connected to the internet, because I haven't paid the internet bill in 6 months and they cut me off"....hilarious.
Have started receiving calls from this # claiming to be the IRS. Used to get them on a regular basis (but from a few other #'s). The entire recording (left on my voicemail) is a clear scam. At this point I hope folks are not falling for this (but the fact that the calls have started again (and maybe never stopped), makes me think some folks are calling them back and sending in money. THE IRS DOES NOT CALL YOU WITH THESE KIND OF MESSAGES OR EVEN INFORM YOU LIKE THIS!!!
Called twice in one day. Both calls went to voice-mail as I do this for ALL unknown numbers. First call, no message. 2nd call was a bad IRS Scam withan Indian accent and awkward obviously foreign bad English phrasing. Time to add to my block list.
Got a message on my answering machine claiming to be IRS office Daniel O'Brian but with typical Indian accent. Said I had an arrest warrant and I must call 209-448-2002 on the same day. Didn't have time to call him back although I wanted to play a game.
