Some convoluted message by someone with an Irish accent asking me to turn myself in based on a complaint from Sergeant Tim O'Brien about some kind of violation.

Sheriff issues warning about fake calls
Posted Jan. 28, 2015 at 2:45 PM
FRENCH CAMP — The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office is warning people not to fall for a phone scam that seems to be coming from its own offices.
A woman claims to be from the sheriff's office, and the number that appears on caller ID is the number of the sheriff's office, but she is not with the office. She claims to have legal documents for service and insists that someone over 18 be home to sign for them.
Because the sheriff's phone number, (209) 468-4400, appears in the caller ID, the calls may look legitimate, but they are not, officials warned.
If sheriff's deputies have papers, they serve them in person, according to Deputy Les Garcia, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Office. Calls of this nature are being received in California as well as Florida and Louisiana.
Anyone who receives such a call should not give out any personal information, including whether someone over the age of 18 is home to sign the documents. And they should report receiving the call to their local law enforcement agency.
