I received a call today from the above number indicating a past due bill. WHICH I know is totally untrue. The gentleman called himself Marcus Floyd, ID number A-15. He even offered an incorrect account number. Please don't offer them information, have them provide you with the information.
Called and said power to be shut off today! Why would p g And e call me. Been in business 15 years never missed a payment and they would send a letter asking me to pay not call me smdh.
A woman called and said my business electrical service is going to be shut off if I don't go to Walgreen, paid $324 for a Green Dot card, and give them the # immediately. Funny thing is that I don't use PG&E for electric. I call my electric provider to confirm it and found out it was a scam.
Please beware, they are very persistent too, keep calling you to make sure you pay them. Always research first, especially when you get this kind of suspicious phone call.
