A lady called me called herself Jessica White from this phone number. Told me the police were coming to pick me up at my work because of a pay day loan from 2007. She sounded Indian. She has my social security number too.
this is currently happening to me, i was worried up until i saw this page...you said you had help from an attorney and its a total scam, what should i do about this? i know they have my social security # so would i need to get an attorney too??
They won't stop calling, I know it's some sort of scam. Had to block 2 of their numbers. 209-498-0508 and 209-498-0511. If anyone knows how I can bring criminal charges against them for harassment please let me know.
I just had the exact problem. When I gave them my number, they insisted they didn't have my number despite the fact they called my by name. When I informed them that my husband is an attorney, they hung up on me. I called back 6 times, and each time they hung up on me. Finally they gave md a supervisor who spoke English much better. He also couldn't find my number and then told ME to stop calling. What the heck???
Yeah I just also recieved a call from this company. I told them I work for the police and will be filing charges with the US poatal service for wire fraud and they hung up on me.
