David,
You sound like a Punjabi yourself.  Not sure where you got the American name, but your diction is not that of any David I have ever met.  Sounds like this is just a plug for your not so successful scam.  I would suggest that you make some Chicken Tandoori or something that you are good at, not English or Web support.  There is a reason that your people work for 30% of the wages that any other human with a brain would do.  209-498-9777 is a scam and by no means work for WIndows.  Look at their cheap website.  My 12 year old could do better than that.

Received a call this morning (9/28/12) claiming to be with Windows Technical help.  They claimed my
cpu had a virus and was sending them messages;  had me drill down to an events file and asked me
to delete by clicking on a line and or highlighting and hitting delete button.  This would not delete the
item,  so he told me the virus had removed the delete function in my cpu;  however, not two minutes
prior to the call I had used the delete button on two other files.  He wanted me to go on line and turn over control of my cpu to him, so he could remove the "infected" references. The young man that
originally called had a heavy Asian accent and the phone call had a delayed, and scratchy, quality.
He told me they were calling from San Andreas, California, but had no idea of any larger cities nearby.
Ultimmately had him pass me to his supervisor, who also had the heavy Asian accent.  He also could
not relate any nearby city names.  Ultimately, broke off the phone call, as I am aware that Windows
would not be calling me to make any corrections to my cpu.  Rather, they would put out an update
and download it to all.  This is no doubt a scam to gain control of your cpu...has all the earmarks!

Yeah I just got this call today. This is 100 percent a scam. Had some Middle eastern guy call me, do this thing to show me that all those errors and warnings in my system registry were viruses, told me that my CPU running at 2 percent on idle is horrible, and to pay 200 dollars for windows 7 ultimate and technical support. He even told me his name was "Abby Robert"!!! Can you believe this [***]? If you let him show you all these things himself via a "Teamviewer" application or using that phony website "AA_v3", then delete the applications and process trees immediately and shut that down in your Task Manager.
