I just got a call from Peter Moore saying he was from PCH and that I had won 2.5 million dollars. The only reason I continued to listen to him was I just sent my entry in the mail this past week. He called from 876-446-3463 and told me I had any questions to phone him back at 954-866-2132 x33. Then proceeded to tell him to let him know which I prefer Walgreens or Walmart to pick up my paperwork and I said and how much is that going to cost me and he said only 1% of total winnings. Told him not interested and hung up. People be careful, there are scams all over the place.
I received a call from this number. He asked for my email address and said I had won 10.5 million dollars. He said he would send me an email with an attachment. When I doubte he was from PCH he said I was acting like "an a__". I felt very uncomfortable, said no thank you, good bye and hung up. He called back asking why I hung up. I told him I was uncomfortable with the call, and politely hung up. He said, all right then, if I don't want the money, and he had been working for Publishers Clearing House for 15 years. I didn't feel comfortable,and said good bye. My id said the call was from Jamaica.
I won 2.5 million and a new mercedes....they will be at my house in two hours with the check and live news crew from GSN and FBI for security and BofA people.......I only stayed on the line because he said I won from PCH/lottery and I put some second chance draw tickets in on scratchers. He gave me his name and about 8 others that would be coming here. He asked for no personal info or money. After I hung up and was checking the facts he gave and finding out about this scam, another guy called back and said I needed to get a mo to pay for delivery.......right. So he thinks I am off getting a money order.....what an idiot. I am probably gonna get phone calls for weeks now, gues I will turn off the land line....Oh, wait...look for me on the news at 2:30 PST....jk. Some of the names he gave were:
His name (claims agent) Dwight Wilson
IRS People: Jonathon Edwards and Roger Dean (to tell me taxes have already been paid)
B of A People: Patricia Norwood and Tricia Chester (cuz it will take two people to hold the giant check!)
Publishers Clearing House General Executive: William Sanderson
and of course the FBI guys to make sure we are secure: Richard Larson, Michael Turner and Peter Moore.
