These guys just keep getting more and more numbers to call from. Started out as auto warranty scammers, then they just started calling and hanging up, probably trying to find out when I would answer the phone and when I wouldn't. Anyway, call it back and it gives you the same faked out of service message as the rest. Skype the crap out of this number too. It is IP based, the only shot we have is to cost them dearly in bandwidth.
been getting several calls daily. Have tried to return call to numbr, operator says number not in service, please check number and try again. Several times now.
Yep, the car warranty scammers, they left a message “…..to find out about the status of your cars warranty…….” I received this identical message back in October from 1-440-499-0407 the ID for that number said Gift Center. 440 is Ohio, but I bet these guys can display anything they want on the caller ID.
Probably the same scammers using the 702-520-XXXX (many different last 4 digits)- car warranty scam. I answered and told the guy I was sick of getting calls from these scammers. He got angry and called me a "retard" and I hung up. How to we get these people? - Federal Communications Commission?? The Do Not Call list does not work- the scammers just change numbers or ignore the Do Not Call list.
They called again with recorded voice message: … to find out about the status of your cars warranty. Again press 1 to inquire about your cars warranty.
Called back and got message. Womans recorded voice saying “the number you dialed is out of service, please check the number and try again.
I have received this identical recorded message from 4 different numbers in 4 different states: OH, MN, PA and CA
Recorded message about car warranty. I pressed 1 to tell them that I was on the do not call registry and that I was reporting them. "Rick" hung up pretty fast - LOSER.
