Called and I pick it up and it's a recording that says "Due to technical difficulties on our end we are unable to speak to you in person". Wait, YOU called me!!!
Robo caller. I do not answer numbers I don't recognize, it goes to answering machine. The machine only gets the last bit of a recorded message, "... with you personally, we'll try again later".
This phone number (209)589-9124 called me around 7:15 pm. The woman on the other end started telling me she was calling on behalf of the Peace Officers Charity. I happen to know this is a bogus charity, so I informed her to stop calling me, and that I knew she was calling for a bogus reason. I further informed her I was contacting the FTC over this call. I hung up, and a minute later they called me again. I did not answer. At 7:55 pm they called me back, and again I did not answer, but these morons started leaving an annoying message on my answering machine. I called them back while blocking my number and received a recorded message that they were sorry they missed my call and that they were selling tickets for some odd thing. They did not have a company name on the recorded message, but if they call me again, I will be getting the authorities here where I live involved. The area code is from my area, but I do believe this is not a correct phone number.
