I get several calls a day (illegal) from this same number, threats to come to my place of work or home (illegal) to have me arrested..they don't even have my work information or current home information, state I have a court date to appear two weeks from now and notices were sent to an address that hasn't been mine since 2009. Very aggressive, rude when speak with them. Asked how much is owed on old account they're collecting on and state thousands due to legal great, etc (I owed U.S. Bank less than $400 due to identity theft when I closed my account) I being this up to them and they state they can do what they want since it's now their account and will garnish my wages. Two women, and two males always answer and males sometimes pretend to have a bogus southern accent. It's all B.S. I told them it sounds like a scam, they continue to threaten. I work in collections, they're breaking several laws and if they had the right to garnish my wages or needed to contact me they'd have by now as I have been at the same job for 5 years, and pay my taxes every year. The male I was speaking with became almost irate when I told him that, and to atop harassing me! Said "okay you know what you can continue to get calls then" and hung up. Tried getting address info to mail a letter to state stop calling and refused. Tried asking at first info so I can mail a payment in via money order and refused. Sounds like a major identity theft scam.
