Same as GWL, I have had a few calls from this number claiming to be from Microsoft and that I my computer was infected with malware and wanted me to give them access to my computer. Told them to get lost.
Person claimed to be calling from a Microsoft Service Center, said my computer was infected with malware etc., led me to the event log showing multiple errors and warnings, then wanted remote access to my desktop. I balked at that and got off the line. Suspect a scam, but don't know for certain.

Woman called said someone hacked my junk files and there was malicious files or something I could not understand what she was saying. She stated she was calling from Windows service center. She took me to windows button and press R then I nipped it.
