I just received two calls from Officer White also saying I owed money to the IRS and was under arrest because I owed money. Would be helpful if there was a law enforcement dept. that could track down this very disturbing and threatening call!
I've seen this mentioned in the news. It's been going on for a few months, at the least. I've seen people posting on Facebook and warning others not to fall for it.
Sadly, when someone mentions such important titles as FBI and IRS they freak first and ask questions way too late.
Remember, any tax or legal issue you should get a document from that department telling you what the tax issue is. The FBI don't normally stake out a house on tax issues, at least not for the tax payers these lowlifes target.
I am actually furious they called me. The simple fact these people claim to be the IRS and add a threat of the FBI ought to make the government hunt them down and charge them to the full extent of the law.
I rec'd this message about 2 hrs ago and was losing my mind til someone reminded me about IRS SCAMS & advised me goggle the tel#. Whew!! So glad the previous comments were posted, I was about to have a come apart.
Just received the call from Officer White, this is not the first time this month and I am sure it will not be the last. I just want all these calls to stop!
