They called me saying virus on my windows computer and we're going to cut my internet. I asked them who was my internet provider, they could not answer. They said they were from an offshore data center (they had a strong Indian accent). I hung up and called my service provider who confirmed it was a scam and that they don't have offshore service centres.
I have ELEVEN missed calls from this number this past week (I was away) I finally answered it and he said he was calling from "Networks" (??) I could hardly understand the name. He said he had to disconnect my internet. I said NO THAT'S NOT OKAY. And then I just hung up. Like everyone else said, sounded like an indian accent and couldn't say anything other than they had to disconnect my internet.
