Its another IRS scam. When I asked what my social was and they couldn't tell me. So I told them to quit calling me. I could hear other phones calls in the background and they both have real HEAVY accents from India.
They called me 2 times in one hour. I called them back and a guy answers don't know what he says he had a very strong Indian accent. All I could get was he was some kind of officer and I told him I will be reporting him to the cops if he doesn't stop calling he says all right ma'am you do that and was very rude
This number called and said they were with the IRS and I have a warrant for my arrest and the police were coming to take me to jail if I didn't pay today or I can get a lawyer but they didn't know my address lol
I got the same call today, a recorded message, very hard to hear saying there was a lawsuit filed under my name. I privatized my number and put on mute and called back. Was an Indian sounding man over a crappy cell phone connection saying he was with the IRS. I hung up immediately. First of all if the IRS had a problem with me, I would have gotten a letter of some kind in the mail. Secondly, they don't want me LOL... I have horrible credit and am in extreme debt.
