wanted me to pay a fee to get a loan up front

Another scam at play....fees for loans that you have not applied for.

They called threatening me saying I owed for a loan.  They called again saying they were offering me a loan.  They became very belligerent and threatened to cut off my husband's appendages in three parts.  They then threatened to come to my place of employment and rape me.

If you feel physically threatened, contact local Law Enforcement.

(However, their threats are probably baseless)

This same company has called for about 15 different numbers just today - NY, FL, CA, TX, and 800 or 888 numbers - all wanting to give me a payday loan...IF they bother to leave a message...today alone - they have called at least 40 times - every 15 minutes - i had to turn the ringer off...
