Being accused of electronic fraud b/c I inquired, and stupidly gave out personal infor for this advnce cash for you thing.... I was only inquiring ...did not agree, did not electronically sign anything. $30. was taken out of my acct. one day, $500. was put in the next day. I was on my bank acct site and noticed those transactions that i never gave permission for. got a number from my bank and called them. the next business day they withdrew the $500. back out, but did not refund a $30. fee until 20+ days later.... now for the last few weeks i've been receiving calls from an idian speaking man accusing me of electronic fraud, that i'm going to be arrested if i don't pay them $1000,+ dollars to settle out of court, they have called my work, yelled at me over the phone when i told them that this was a scam. These calls came from numbers: (209)790-3761, (951)582-4840, and the two showing on my bank statement which i've highlighted and have filed are (866)761-1124 and (866)337-3331. Multiple times a day I have to contend with this.... I'm not computer savy, i drive a truck for a living...and i am honest and do not deserve this stress....what to do?

After doing some researching i found that all of these numbers are associated with cash advance for you out of overland park, kansas. this should not be allowed to happen. each time they call they are more and more threatening. maybe i should go ahead and call the police at least, i have just reported it on the federal trade commission site, and an FBI site...so maybe something will come of it!
I got the same phone call they called me about 3 weeks ago and had a different number and different name. they want the same thing. said i got a cash advance and have not paid back they want me to put $500 dollars on a prepaid walmart visa and not activate it but fax the number and a copy of my drivers lin. to the supposed court house to settle my debt. I only inquired about a payday loan and they have all my information including ss number. I told them i have called the FBI in my state and they told me to give them the number and hang up. I'm sure that they have all different numbers but its always the same guy and the same thing with a different name. i dont think thers anything we can do.
I have been getting the same calls for several days. He leaves a message, speaking with a very heavy accent, but yet his name is Fredrick Warner. He is saying that he keeps being sent into my voicemail system and I am purposly ignoring him and his request. If I don't call back legal action will be take against me at work and my home. He says to call 209-790-3761 and if I don't then he just wishes me good luck because i will be in big legal situations. BIG SCAM!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!
Honeybrook pa, Yea we got the calls and what-not from this [***] indian guy bout the loan scams. The phone number was the same 209-790-3761. same as everyone else he got real cocky. I hope someone finds out who he is and kicks his non english speaking [***] right on back to where he came from.
