Have your daughter take ten minutes out of her day to relentlessly call them back and annoy them, that's what I did. Not only do I feel better but they never called again.
I received a few calls from them in the last few days and it was the same issue. A fast talking guy who did not want to answer any questions with many people talking in the background. All he was interested in was me saying yes to what he was asking. I told him windows is not a company and that Microsoft does not call each of its customers to alert them they are having issues with their computer. If there was a message being sent it would be their system sending me one to let me know something is not right. I keep my system updated and have had no issues with it so yeah I was not going to fall for his BS. The sad thing is there are a lot of people who will do as they ask because they do not know any better.
I got the same call two days in a row. First day he stated his name was Brian, I said "really, Brian with that type of accent", he hung up. Today got the same call again from Brian, Told me my computer was crashing, I said " really, well you must be a hacker and I am calling the FBI. He hung up, Hope he calls again tomorrow I will really mess with him. As now I know more about this number, thanks 800notes. Love messing with telemarketers. lol
