Rec'd. no-number call 26.1.13. Person said he was from IPC Support in Delaware, that his name was Ray Thompson; he had what sounded like an Indian accept. He advised IPC was already online with my Microsoft system, that there was something wrong & they cld. repair it. An online check indicates a co. with slightly different name based in CA. as partly does info at foot of this page (209-800-1080: Country: USA:Location: California-Lodi, Merced, Modesto).
Called me too, says they are PSS Technology in California- working for Microsoft and my computer is sending error messages and has a virus. They wanted me to follow their instructions to allow them access to my computer over the net. You could hear several voices in the background talking to others on the phone ( sweat house) - they had heavy East Indian accents- pushy, not professional
