Who called from 2098132959

They called twice.  Each time we said hello a few times....they only said "Good Bye", and hung up.

Called, left no message

Said I had a virus on my computer and wanted access.
Asked to speak to their supervisor they hung up :)
Called at 1:30 PM, must be trying for elderly people and computer use.

This is a known scam to gain remote access to your computer to install malware and steal userids, passwords, banking info, etc.  Microsoft has a warning on their website about these scams.

Microsoft does not initiate tech support calls and does not use third party contractors to do so on their behalf.  Also, there is no process in the Windows OSes that sends out the type of information the callers claim is being sent to "Microsoft" or "Windows" servers.
