Second call today...upon answering I demanded my money...guy that called yesterday claimed my loan application had been approved...again I was hung up on!So to let them know I 'm not forgetting the money...I tied up their line...made 'em madder than hell!!!
Received bad written email with threats. States that I owe money on a payday loan. Threatened with criminal charges- Said that he was with an attorney from Texas. The address that he listed on his email does not exist and looking at the website for the law firm that he said he was with, his name is not even listed. Said his name is Daniel Smith and identified himself as an affidavit officer working with "FDCPA" department, yeah right! . When calling this number, goes straight to voicemail, answered by a male with Hindu accent. These scammers are getting worse and worse. Don't give them money- even if they threat you- this is an illegal practice. Know you rights.
