Wanted to access my computer, saying they were from Microsoft

Said he was from Microsoft and if I didn't address my computer issues with him my whole computer was going to crash for good. When I hung up he called me back to give me one last chance. When I said I wasn't interested he said I had better back up my data because I was going to lose everything.

Caller said  there were security  issues  with my Windows 10  eg.  External unauthorized usage.....seemed bogus

got a call from this number with a man with a huge accent that said he was software guy and our computer software had run out.  I told him we did not have a computer ,but he said that they were getting a notice from it, so I said it must be when my son comes here & uses his IPAD.  He said the computer will not work when he comes… I think this is a SCAM as my computer is okay!

Traced to california, who are these people, not bad enough with canadian telemarketers, who ignore the dnc list, not we have american ones too.
